Deposit & Payment Terms Amount:
Amount: For Functions, venue and room hire, $500 deposit is required.
Time frame: Required to secure the date of event / booking.
Full payment: Required on the day of event / booking.
Failure to make required payments within specified timeframes may result in the cancelation of the event.
Confirmation of the Function
Final details of the function to be confirmed at least 1 week prior to the date of the event.
Cancellation
A minimum of 7 days notice is required. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a 30% cancellation fee.
Access Time
Unless authorised by management, access to the function space will be limited to no more than 3 hours prior to the function.
All bump out must take place at the end of the function including the removal of any decorations or theming. Industrial Harvest takes no responsibility for any items left on the premises.
Security
There is no legal requirement for security for events / functions under 100 people, however Industrial Harvest strongly recommends security for specific circumstances. This will be an additional cost to the client of $45/hour for a minimum of 4 hours. Guards will hold current security licences and will be provided only through Industrial Harvest approved providers. The client cannot employ additional security personnel under a separate agreement with a third party unless prior approval is gained.
Child Policy
Any persons under the age of 18 may be in attendance at your function provided a responsible adult supervises them at all times. Underage persons are strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol or approaching the bar. Failure to comply with these procedures may result in the person and their legal guardian be asked to leave the premises.
Cleaning Charges
The client will be responsible for the cost of cleaning which in the opinion of Industrial Harvest exceeds reasonable cleaning requirements for the function in the venue.
Damage and Responsibility
Industrial Harvest or their employees shall not be liable for any theft or damage or loss sustained by the client, the client’s guests or any person supplying the client including property being brought into the venue.
Decoration
Any styling or theming of the room in any form is at the discretion of management and must be approved in advance. Failure to do so may incur additional charges. Management reserves the right to refuse the use of decorations if they are deemed unsuitable.
Disorderly Conduct
Industrial Harvest will not permit any disorderly, unlawful, offensive or improper conduct within the venue and its confines. Any person believed to be under the influence of excessive alcohol or involved in any disorderly, unlawful, offensive or improper conduct will be escorted off the premises. Management reserves the right to terminate any function should they reasonably believe the function is not being conducted in an orderly and lawful manner but will not do so unreasonably and without consultation with the client. Industrial Harvest is not responsible for any costs incurred by the client as a result of the function being terminated for disorderly or unlawful conduct.
Indemnity
The client uses and occupies the venue, including but not limited to the area of the venue in which the event is conducted, at the client’s own risk. The client hereby indemnifies Industrial Harvest, their employees, agents and contractors and agrees to keep Industrial Harvest, their employees, agents and contractors, indemnified from and against all actions, suits, proceedings, claims and demands for all damages, costs and expenses whatsoever which may be taken or made against Industrial Harvest, its employees, agents and contractors, and/or incurred, arising out of injury or damage to any person or property from or during the use of Industrial Harvest’s facilities referred to in this agreement and the booking form, to the extent that such injury or damage to any person or property is caused or contributed to by the client, invitees and agents. In addition, the terms of this indemnity do not apply to the extent that the injury or damage to any person or property is caused or contributed to by the negligent acts or omissions of Industrial Harvest their employees, agents and contractors.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
Industrial Harvest is committed to the responsible service of alcohol. It is illegal to serve alcoholic beverages to any person in a state of intoxication and as such Industrial Harvest reserves the right to not serve any such person and/or request their departure from the premises. Due to the Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation (RSA), it is the policy of Industrial Harvest not to serve shots to any person attending a function. It is illegal to serve alcoholic beverages to any person less than eighteen years of age and Industrial Harvest reserves the right to request suitable confirmation of age.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted inside the venue. Smoking permitted in designated smoking areas outside the building.
Menu adjustments
Changes to the menu are permitted with in reason to the chosen package, some items from the menu are subject to season availability.
